Pillars and Boom
Pillars Restaurant is situated in the 18th Century Admirals Inn Hotel in the picturesque Nelson’s Dockyard. The large terrace sits overlooking the bay.
Boom Restaurant at Gunpowder House, annexed to Admirals Inn, is just across the water with a pool looking over the bay towards the Dockyard.
Pillars kitchen is headed by Chef Juan, Chilean born, and serves delicious locally sourced food. Choose from the A La Carte menu, under the shade watching the boats swing at anchor in the cooling sea breeze.
Or take a shuttle boat ride over to Boom for more relaxed dining, where you can laze by the pool with a cocktail for a while before lunch.
The menu here specializes in fish and is fresh and healthy. The Powder Room Spa offers spa treatments if you fancy some pampering.
Gunpowder House was originally an 18th Century gunpowder store and has been renovated and turned into an exhibition centre with attached suites for accommodation.
