Five Islands Bay
The eastern part of the bay is shoal with plenty of mosquitos as behind is uncleared bushland. South of Seaforth Beach is Hansons Beach again sandy with a shallow approach. Approaching by land you must follow a dirt track across Halls Farm. Make sure you close gates after you so the farm animals cannot escape. Maiden Island in the middle of the Bay, is private, and owned by Halls Farm.
Hermitage Bay Beach is almost at the entrance to the bay and is home to the Hermitage Bay Resort. Cottages run down to the beachline so you may have to share the sand with guests.
Just a little further south still is Stoney Point Beach, accessed by land through the Pearns Point Estate. The two anchorages here are favoured by larger yachts, however, a ground swell can occasionally make this an uncomfortable spot.
Named after five rocky islets off the southern part of the bay, this is a lovely secluded anchorage on the Caribbean Sea side of the Island.
At the head of the bay is quiet sandy beach know as Seaforth Beach but with only 6 ft of water it is best approached by dinghy.
Whats Close?
South is Jolly Harbour Marina where you will find a supermarket, shops, restaurants and bars. Sail around the outside of the five islands.
Not far up the north of the coast sailing, is St John's Harbour and the main city of Antigua, with plenty of things to do.
